Hi All!
I have annoying problem with my suse - I'm using Open Suse 10.2 on Xeon CPU 5140, 2.33Ghz, 3,85 GB RAM Linux 2.6.18.8-0.7-default x86_64. When I'm using some of my tools which involves let's say quite big matrix inversion it gives Segmentation fault error.Of course I can limit the size of the matrix - but am I reaching limits of this machine? Does anybody have a clue is it somehow linked to ulimit which gives with the switch -a :

core file size (blocks, -c) 0
data seg size (kbytes, -d) unlimited
file size (blocks, -f) unlimited
pending signals (-i) 45056
max locked memory (kbytes, -l) 32
max memory size (kbytes, -m) 3428050
open files (-n) 1024
pipe size (512 bytes, -p) 8
POSIX message queues (bytes, -q) 819200
stack size (kbytes, -s) 8192
cpu time (seconds, -t) unlimited
max user processes (-u) 45056
virtual memory (kbytes, -v) 4910000
file locks (-x) unlimited

Waiting for discussion, and hoping for a solution. Reagrds
