i have read some articles about dissableing 4k stacksize on fedora.
now im running OpenSuse 10.3 x86_64 and im using VMWARE but when im installing or running some other os on VMWare my whole system exept my mouse WILL HANG.. so i read something about dissableing the 4k stacksize or it should run better whitout 4k Stacksize or it should run better on 2M does some peap's have some tips???? |

are you talking about the kernel's stack size? if so, then the only way to disable/increase the kernel's stack size is to recompile it with the option disabled

Yea the kernel stacksize but recompile whitout complications??

hmmm.. unless you are running fedora kernel (which I doubt), you don't have 4k stack enabled. even patch present is suse kernel

than i don't have any idea why my suse going hanging on running other os @ VMWare ws5 + player..
only i can do is push my powerbutton (or only moving my mouse) |
