Happy new year everyone!!!
I'm trying to use install wine on my suse 10.2 system but initially i am asked if i want to apply the following changes:

glib-32bit-1.2.10-627 (Package)
gtk-32bit-1.2.10-926 (Package)
Xdialog-2.3.1-0.pm.2 (Package)

I agree and then recieve the following error from Software Installer:

"Transaction failed: Can't provide /suse/x86_64/glib-32bit-1.2.10-627.x86_64.rpm from file:/"

I used to recieve a similar message when battling to install google-earth on my machine, a battle i gave up on.

Any help, insights or comments welcome.

It seems that you're trying to install 32-bit version of the packages on a 64-bit system. Ensure that you have the 64-bit version
