I was running OpenSuse 10.2 without much problem (other than USB issues related to Dell E521) for perhaps 6 months. I recently updated to OpenSuse 10.3. I notice now I get weird slowness from time to time. The system will not lockup completely but will become so slow that the mouse will not move on the screen. It generally resolves itself after a minute or two and will return to normal. It seems extremely bad after the system has been idle for a little while. I'm not really sure where to even look to see what is happening.

Here is my basic system setup

Dell E521 AMD 5000 X2
4GB RAM
OpenSuse 10.3 x64
NVidia drivers loaded up

Any thoughts that come to mind of what I should be looking for?

I'll shut that off and see it improves.
