I all,

I'm using openSUSE 10.3 (X86-64) and when I click on the button "Suspend to RAM" I got no reaction from the system.
But giving "s2ram -f" from bash it works well.
Now my question is: is there a configuration file to change the behaviour of "Suspend to RAM" button ?

Thanks, Alfonso

hm, as i recall there is a file in ./etc/pm/ that changes this behavior, i think its config, and there is a value in that file called suspend options, or so, add -f to that, Im sorry i cant give you exact intrustions cause my suse box is in the other room and i don't feel like getting up
I do know its possible, maybe one of the pros can get exact instructions.

Ok, I got it !!!!
You are right, the answer is in /etc/pm !
Here you can find an explanation: "http://en.opensuse.org/Pm-utils".
In my case the solution is in section: "Using suspend to RAM on machines that are not in the s2ram whitelist".

Glad to be of assistance, maybe you can give the machines model numbers and it can get added into the hardware database.
