As there is no source, has anyone found a device to get skype working on 64-bit linux?

i spoke too soon. Though it installed without dependency complains, it would not load still, so to resolve it i downloaded skype_static-1.4.0.99.tar.bz2 and run in from the extracted folder. thanks again feather for leading me in the path to success.
