Hi.

I've been trying to upgrade my Gnome softs (http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...openSUSE_10.2/) since yesterday. Actually, smart correctly select to upgrade all correct packages but, it also select to install a large number of i586 packages. It also happens or happened for others packages which I generally can select to removal.
Can anyone help me? How I set up smart config to avoid i586 packages?

Thanks in advance,

Gilberto

Then you have to upgrade manually
There are some packages i586 who are in use by the 64 bit version.
Sometimes there is no 64 bit version and by not installing them you can't enjoy all of OpenSUSE
It's possible that your system will not work properly.
So let them theres nothing wrong with it.
Try to remove the packages you don't need and look if the system wil work.

Not sure about smart but you should be able to upgrade it with YAST if there is a newer version available.
YAST actually works better than smart on my machine.
