No problem

But if you want it to work in Firefox you'll have to choose one of the other choices if you happy with konqueror then no problem.

It works with konqueror as far as I can tell because konqueror is 32bit, but firefox is 64bit.

If you eventually go for 64bit firefox and wish for streaming media https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/446/ try this works a dream just need to configure it to use mplayer or what ever media player you wish for, may work for konqueror never tried.
