MySQL tables that are accessed via an ODBC connection must have a primary key. If you omit the primary key the table will only be accessible as read-only. You might want to remember this when you are testing an ODBC connection with a quickie database you designed in 30 seconds. This one had me banging my head against the wall for hours. Hope it helps someone else.
