About GTK issue on Mplayer plugin for opera, there is a patch that should be applied in order to enable during the compilation.

http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/opera-mplayer-plugin/

Anyway, it is not the same for all machines, I guess that GTK libraries should be installed too.

Any news will be welcomed. I don't understand why nobody creates a package called opera-mplayer-plugin or something like that, in order to enable it easily with Opera. Pretty much what it is already done in Arch distro.

Are you talking about GTK patch? I don't know how to do it work. At this moment I am working with the plugin, without the GTK add-ons. It is not important for me.

The most annoying part of the plugin is the misdisplacement of the video, but works fine in my box.

I guess searching with google one can find the solution to this issue, but I haven't found the key yet. May be indicating where to find GTK on the compilation command, may be modifying the patch, I don't know. Please, if you find the solution let me know or just modify the script, so it makes whatever required automatically.

Sorry for not being so helpful, and thank you very much for checking this bloody issue.
