Hi Everyone,

For those who don't already know about this, here is a list of international mirror sites for ftp.suse.com. From Novell's own website:

http://www.novell.com/products/suselinux/d...nt_mirrors.html

I would suggest one of these over a questionable source.

Enjoy.

edit: URL updated.

This link now connects to here http://www.novell.com/products/suselinux/ which does not supply a list of mirror sites.

I think you're both right (both links took me to the same web page). I hit pay dirt after doing a little more digging from there:

Mirrors Released Version

About 3 - 4 pages.

This is a must have, and comes recomended by guru. http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=43378

WHAT DOES IT DO?

Many great package repositories are available for SUSE. However it takes knowledge and work to find and manage these. This Kommander script gives you a large selection of repositories that you can add graphically with point'n'click.

A version is available both for YaST2/Zen/Rug (default), and the very popular Smart Package Manager.
