Ctrl-Alt-F1 2 3 4 5 6 even 8 I believe are available, yes ctrl alt f7 kicks you back to original login just as ctrl alt bkspc from X login kicks you back to g or kdm.
Ok , having to edit ignore 8 its outer darkness ..interesting...Mad |

Actually, the CTRL is only needed if you switch from the X-Server to a text console. Switching from a text console to other console (including the X-Server, which normally runs on console 7) you only need to press ALT+FX.
So e.g.: CTRL+ALT+F1 (switch from X-Server to first console) ALT+F7 (switch back to X-Server) |
