Can Kiwi be used to create a full installation DVD? I know it has profiles for the liveCDs for GNOME and KDE, but I'd really like an up to date installation DVD. I've been through the documentation and the en.opensuse.org articles mention "liveDVD" and link to the kiwi tutorial page, but the page itself only describes how to make the live CDs.
I guess I'm kinda hoping for an equivalent to that jigdo stuff that Fedora uses to make their respin DVDs. |

Thanks. It also looks like this may come in handy:
http://en.opensuse.org/Making_a_SUSE_based_distribution But I'm not sure. I'm hoping I can just add all the new RPMs (from var/cache/zypp after the last system update) to the package, and recreate the DVD image. That's my idea, anyway. I've heard there is a Yast2 interface to Kiwi. Maybe it has support for building a DVD? |
