I read one report of an openSUSE 10.3 install having trouble installing with an AMD Phenom CPU

If you have problems, use the "pci=nomsi" kernel option at install/boot! (At the bootsplash type that in.)

What is MSI/MSI-X?

Hopefully the later kernel updates & 11.0 will have that fixed.
