By chance, I happened upon a webpin rpm while looking in the kiwi repro; see http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/.../openSUSE_10.3/
By Pascal Bleser = "Guru" Do "man webpin" for a howto. In a terminal "webpin [options] <searchTerm>" "RPM DATABASE INTERACTION When passing the --rpm option, webpin compares search results with your local RPM database (or a database of a chroot, using the --rpm-root option) and shows whether the search results are installed on your local system or not, as well as comparing the versions (only versions, not releases nor epoch as those values are not provided by the Package Search service). Note that those options and features are only available when the pack‐ age rpm-python is installed on your system." Neat... |
