I dunno, I applied the fix and everything seems to be alright but I really have no way to test since its reporting that theres no new updates to download. I'm sure I havent gotten all the security updates and patches yet but this is the only service I have in the updater thingy:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/10.1/ Should I have more than that? The KDE repository doesnt work for me either so i'm assuming this patch didnt apply successfully or fully or something. I tried adding those yast repositories for kde, gnome, packman, etc but it still says I have no new updates.. Anyone have any ideas? |

Am I right in saying that the yast/system update is the only way to install security patches etc or can that be done via smart? I still don't have yast updates working properly, in fact its a mess. If I can avoid using that thing altogther it'd be great.
