A quick and very handy Linux tip sheet can be got from an Australian site http://homepage.powerup.com.au/~squadron/ ,in typical no nonsense aussie speak it's a One Page Linux Manual, and that's exactly what it is.

Well, it's two A4 sides, but all the really useful Linux newbie stuff is there from starting/stopping , mounting drives, installing RPM's etc. all the really useful commands a beginner needs to know.

Good stuff!

Glad you edited the link

Cheers,that's handy.
Just bought February edition of Linux magazine and a Linux Quick Reference (useful commands)slipped out on to the floor while I was queing to pay.
So maybe my New Year's resolution should be to start getting to grips with the CLI
Thanks again.

Thumbs down

A good tip to be pinned in the section...

If you use the reduction tool in the printer settings, you could save 50% in paper.
