I thought this might of some interest, this article describes some tricks to installing 9.1 and possibly 9.2 without error. Basically it deals with installaing DHCPD, Key Mappings and a few other programs that Suse does not install by default.

It is a good one, I do not know how many other people have had probs with 9.1 install, but installing those few progs helped allot. I had a continuing problem with LC_TYPE errors, now resolved.
