If I install the deb package for OpenSUSE, is it stable? I really, really want this LinuxDC++ on my OpenSUSE and I'm not good with compiling. But there is a deb version of it and well, could I just installed deb package from "Package Selector". Would that work?

*Bow*Edit: But then again, maybe my searching skills are that of paper bag. Anywho, I still thank you. Ocha |

I prefer this searchservice:
http://packages.opensuse-community.org/ It presents stable repositories first (while Iznogoods service presents a lot of repos which I haven't even heard of...). Also this service can be used via the commandline after installing »webpin«, which can be quite useful: Code:
kalle@hoppers:~> webpin linuxdc ... performing request on http://api.opensuse-community.org/se...ce/Search/Si** 9 results (2 packages) found for "linuxdc" in openSUSE_103 * linuxdcpp: DC++ Direct Connect Client Port ** - 1.0.1 [packman | BS::home:/MunkOil | BS::home:/pgradadia | BS::home:/dmitry_serpokryl:/SOAD] ** - 1.0.0 [BS::home:/prusnak] ** - cvs_20080302 [BS::home:/MunkOil:/beta] * linuxdcpp-debuginfo: Debug information for package linuxdcpp ** - 1.0.1 [packman | BS::home:/pgradadia] ** - cvs_20080302 [BS::home:/MunkOil:/beta] |
