Are there any open source publicly licensed statistical packages (like say SPSS) that are available and will run under openSUSE 10.3.

If you want econometrics, gretl is pretty cool. It's something of an Eviews knock-off.

These are available from the OSS repo:

Kst (data plotting and viewing program)
rrdtool (data analysis)
