Most of the times I search my NTFS partitions using kfind, it is unable to return the files I'm looking for, and they are there for real.

So cann't trust in this application since it searches on these kind of partitions are useless.

What other application could you suggest me to have better result when searching for files located on NTFS partitions ?

In case this info is useful:

* The NTFS partitions are mounted using ntfs-3g
* Beagle has been uninstalled here (it consumes too many valuable resources of my PC)

$ rpm -qf /usr/bin/locate
findutils-locate-4.2.31-24

$ su
# zypper install findutils-locate
# man locate

Then just configure in YaST:
