Does anyone know of any software for tracking fitness/weight loss progress? Everything I've found so far is Windows only. I'm looking for something where I can plan and track my meals plus my exercise program.

Any suggestions?

Try to run those windows applications with WINE.
I use many windows apps on my system that way.
Doesn't work for everything (at least I don;t put much time into
making it work), but for most things, it works fairly well.

I could do that, but I'd prefer something that's compatible with Linux if possible. If I get desperate I might try it - thanks!

There are a number of programs for Windows - some free and some shareware. I haven't used any of them so I can't really comment on them, but if you google - you'll find plenty.

I have used the Mindstryke website however - which is designed primarily for cyclists but you can adapt the fitness side of it for any sport/exercise you like. It's very good, and free.

This one, but it's not free.

At least there are a few.

Thanks. I'm trying out FitDay (online version) for a week or so. So far I like it a lot but it's calorie calculations seem a bit out of whack for some reason.

I haven't used a non-web program for this type of thing for a long time... I've personally been using SparkPeople.com for about a year now and have had some good success with it...
