I am running a JAD machine (opensuse 10.2) and am rather sick of the e-17 wm. I'm sure it's great, but I can't get it to work for me. I've considered fluxbox et al, as well as xfce. What other options are there for a resource light desktop? What is the lightest of them all?

Here are a few to sort through: fluxbox, xfce4, icewm, openbox, fvwm, rat poison, ahakai, pekwm. Actually, you can go through most of them here: http://xwinman.org/

Lightest? Probably Bash shell&'screen' command combo?
Ratpoison is supposed to be one of the lightest. XFCE is very popular. Also popular and lighter than XFCE is Fluxbox. |

Where can I find info on using fluxbox? It seems to require manually editing config files in order to customize it. I don't mind editing files by hand but I would need a reference.
