Any word on when/how we can install Gnome 2.22 in openSUSE? I've checked www.gnome.org and there is no mention of "It's released", and where to get it. All mentions of 2.22 take you to a 2.20 page for download.

Keep an eye on the openSUSE build service. It will appear there first. Also read on PlanetSUSE for any updates from the community package maintainers.

Thanx.

I'm still getting used to the different services and repos that suse uses. I heard the "smart installer/updater" is the way to go.

Does anyone here have GNOME 2.22 running on 10.3 yet?

Have searched for opensuse repros/packages but no luck so far.

Still nothing in the official channels... for the brave and willing, this is an interesting link on using a utility called GarNOME that can be used to build GNOME versions from source :
