Hi,

I have a few (call it 7) servers ll running OpenSuSE 10.3.

I was wondering whether there are any tools (specifically any SuSE-specific) for centralized administration, specifically package management/updates, etc. of all of the machines? Or maybe something YaST-like that allows access to a list of mchines?

Thanks,
Jason

Jason,

I really don't know of one system that "free" that will let you do what you want other than RDPing into each unit. There is however a nice monitoring project that can be used to monitor your servers from one location. It's the hobbit project, you can find this at http://hobbitmon.sourceforge.net/. As for the updates, you can set one to receive the updates and the others to pull them from the main one. Basically making one of them a repo for the others. Sorry if this isn't quite what you wanted, GUI wise, but it's a start for ya.
