Hello All

Rusty brain here. Trying to remember what that utility is that takes a SW from source (ie *.tar.gz) and allows you to create and crude RPM automatically for easy removal later. The install process was simple something like this:

./configure
make
install make ( I know this looks wierd but this is where that utility is used )

Anyone know?

Thanks a lot
pilot

PS I know that RPMs are not meant to be built this way, I just do this to easily remove SW if I don't like it.
