Ktorrent Won't Start

When I try to start ktorrent 3.0.1-13 the interface flashes up then closes straight away.
I have both suse 10.3 (kde 3.5.7) and 11.0 (kde 4.03) installed on an A200 toshiba and the same thing happens in both. I got around it in 10.3 by downgrading to the previous version. But the 11.0 install is fresh (14-5-08) so I would like to fix this issue if possible.
There is no error message, just a quick flash on the screen and then nothing.

It should be fixable. I have ktorrent running now (its been doing so for over 24-hours) on 11.0 beta2 on an old athlon-1100 (with 1GByte RAM). Please follow ken_yap's recommendation.

If you have a digitial still camera, with a movie mode, you can always take a video of it. I have successfully done that before, and by such a method "caught" an error message that disappeared in a flash.

Still, I think ken_yap's recommendation is the best route to follow for troubleshooting this.

Thanks Ken, I have tried it from konsole and the same thing happens. konsole starts the app and it crashes straight away. No error message. Tried ktorrent --help-all, can;t find anything about debugging.

On my 11.0 beta2 (kde.3.5.9) I am successfully using ktorrent-3.0.2-10.

Thanks oldcpu, I'm using native kde 4.03 and did manage to find my problem in kde bugs. It has been fixed in svn 2 weeks ago.
I've downloaded the latest svn version but I can't get it to compile. cmake returns the error...

cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake not found in /home/ian/.kde4/share/apps;/usr/share/apps;/etc/kde4/share/apps;/usr/share/kde4/apps[/b]

The version of cmake in the repositories seems to be missing "FindKDE4Internal.cmake".
