hi all just tried playing a movie on kaffeine it lookas for a codec...

install vlc. you will need to update your repository, but vlc has its own. either check on thier website www.videolan.org or search a bit in YaST to find it. i have used it in windows for the past couple years and just installed it now that i have suse. generally no need to search for additional codeces (sp?).
