I'm running openSuSE 10.3 x64 on a Dell laptop. I've been trying to get Desktop Effects working on it. I've gone into the Desktop Effects module of the Control Center and enabled the desktop effects. However, when I restart the X server, none of my windows have decorations. I've discovered that if I run the command gtk-window-decorator --replace & the window decorations show up just fine. However, when I log out and back in, the window decorations are missing again. What can I do to make them show up every time I log in? I've tried playing around in the ccsm program, but the only option I found that looked like it would help was the command field of Window Decoration. I tried putting gtk-window-decorator in there, but it doesn't help.
