Hi. i have a problem with 3d desktop and watching video files and TV.
If 3d desktop is enabled, I cannot watch video files or TV.
when i disable 3d desktop, i can watch videos.
Doe's anyone knows how to resolve this problem???
Please HEEEELP

What Graphics card do you have? I have an Intel card, and if you have the same card, then forget trying to watch movies with 3d Graphics. OpenGL is not fully supported on the Intel cards. Plus, using OpenGL puts a lot more strain on your graphics card. This is why you may notice that your programs may run at around the same speed, but your movies cannot play. I would get a newer graphics card if possible, or switch back and forth, which tends to be a pain, but I live with it.

I have nVidia GForce FX 5200. I solved the problem by staying awake all night.
I made some changes in the video driver setting and now It's ok.

Yes please list your changes, I wonder if this could be related to my video problem? My graphics card is also an nVidia GeForce but a different series (7600GS), so maybe there is a chance your solution will work for me.

I've changed the xine videorenderer to Open- GL and now works.

Nice..... Xine works for me now also! Now I just need to figure out how to get videos in my web browser to work.....
