Hi,
I have a question about a codec to play some streaming audio that doesn't play with any of the multimedia players on Opensuse 10.2. Each time I try to play it with VLC, Kaffeine, Mplayer, or Amarok I get a message of the gist of that a plugin or codec is missing. I switched to Windows and tried to play it in Win Media Player, and it came up with a message that a codec was missing, and led me to a site to download the Sipro Lab Telecom ACELP.net(130) codec. Following that link led me to a site to download the VoiceAge ACELP.net.audio.codec. I downloaded and installed the codec, now the site plays on WMP. I tried to google the codec for a download site for linux, but came up empty. So naturally I thought of the experts at suseforum to help me out, and I am waiting expectantly for you to instruct me how to fix this.

ACELP.net does not provide Linux codecs, only Windows 32-bit codecs. You'll need to do all your ACELP stuff in Windows, or complain to the company.
