Hi everybody! I just installed the demo version of Enemy Territory Quake Wars and I have no sound. I ran the game from the console and I got this for the sound:

----- Initializing Sound System ------
sound system initialized.
--------------------------------------
------ Alsa Sound Initialization -----
dlopen(libasound.so.2)
asoundlib version: 1.0.14a
ALSA lib pcm.c:6618snd_pcm_slave_conf) unknown format unchanged
snd_pcm_open SND_PCM_STREAM_PLAYBACK 'default' failed: Invalid argument
dlclose
WARNING: sound subsystem disabled

--------------------------------------
----------- Alsa Shutdown ------------

I really don't know what could it be the problem. I looked up in the forum and other places but I found different types of errors and not this one. If you can help I will really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Auto answer!

I found on this forum (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=80177 ) the solution. It is a sound problem on quake4, but worked for my NO SOUND AT ALL in ETQW. Just run "etqw +set s_driver oss" and all set!
