Hi, I guess that you are trying to run it with Wine.

Take a look at this thread: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?...on&iId=3967

Unfortunately for you, it seems that it does not work very well (yet?). If you want to improve it, you can get an account on WineHQ and submit bug reports and/or vote for solving particular bugs.

This way you *might* get this game to run with Wine in the long run, although it is not a guarantee.

That might take a while though, just look at the changes for Dreamfall:

http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?...o=&iId=5305

On the positive side, Wine is a lot more mature now, so if it is only minor bugs blocking the game from working, it might be solved over the course of a couple of months.
