i downloaded steam on my opensuse 10.3

then i typed in "wine install SteamInstall_German.msi"
and got this-->

majorstar@majorstar:~> wine install SteamInstall_German.msi
wine: could not load L"c\windows\\system32\\install.exe": Module not found

Try
Code:
wine SteamInstall_German.msi
You don't need the install command. It is looking for install.exe, which you don't have. This should work. Check out
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?...on&iId=1554
This should give you help in case you have any errors in running steam.

thx, i solved my steam problem now.
i have an old counterstrike condition zero cd with steam installer.

its very simple and work withput errors!
i can update steam without any corrution!

it works now,
my advise for all who have trouble with it, try condition zero installer from cd.....it would work fine!

btw: when insert cd open setup.exe and type in the program u want to use "wine"

if u havent wine, simply install with one click installer ...search onhttp://packages.opensuse-community.org.....good luck!
