Hello,

I would really like to play guild wars on my linux box. I would prefer wine, but would purchase cedega. Has any one here had any success? if so what problems did you run into and how did you fix?

I have an ibm t60 laptop with integrated ati x1300 video card.

OK this is my Guild Wars install Guide...... with my results

firstly open up a terminal window, i cant see it working to well outside of X

then cd to the dvd and run setup.exe so i used:

Code:
cd /media/GWNIGHTFALLDVD
wine setup.exe
i then followed through the installer

After that it was time to update it, which is allways fun

Now my login screen didnt work, it was full screen etc...... but it was unsuable, ive got a feeling this is because i dont have any graphics card drivers installed, ATI dont ahve a linux driver for my card
