After this upcoming Patch Tuesday (November 6th, 2007), an official Linux client for EVE Online will be available from eve-online.com. I'll at least be giving it a shot.

I mean, what's it like?Edit: also, when I sign up for the trial, it asks me to download a 600mb exe file... but, if I want to play under Linux, is that file useful to me at all?? |

Hmmm..
I looked over it and it's not native . It's mixed up with Cedega . Maybe it will work a bit better with this customized cedega built in . I tried Eve with Cedega about one year ago and it was playable .. nothing more nothing less . I'll give it a go just for the kicks to see how it's running this time . For those already playing Eve ... Fly Safe !! |
