Anyone else experiencing problems with multiplayer? If I create a game my opponent cannot see it, and if he creates a game I can't see it.

I've tried switching off the firewall, no joy.

(I have played multiplayer in Kubuntu, so it's not me being a newbie, BroodWar patch has been installed).

Regards,
Dave

Not really related to your problem, but I was wondering how you made it run in the first place? I tried wine and crossover and both give me sound but no graphics.

I had it installed in Kubuntu, so I just copied across the installation. I did try out installing a "SPAWN" installation as well, which worked just fine. When you say you get no graphics what happens? Is the screen black with StarCraft sound?

Hmmm, it might be a firewall issue after all. I've opened up UDP ports 6112-6119 but I can't test it as yet (my opponent has left!)

I'll post results on Thursday.

Yes, it goes on a black fullscreen while the music plays on the background.
