Armagetron & Prboom

I used Yast to download and install the games Armagetron and prboom.
When I go to luanch Armagetron, I see a new window open on the task bar, it sits there for about 20 seconds acting as if it's loading (the hour glass icon is moving) then the window just closes and nothing happens.

When I try to luanch prboom, nothing seems to happen.

Any ideas?

BTW, I'm using openSUSE 10.2 with KDE 3.5.5
Linux 2.6.18.2-34-default i686
And NVIDIA graphics card with OpenGL drivers installed.

With prboom, try launching from a console and see what error messages appear. Do you have the necessary wad file installed? Read this:

There is a shareware IWAD available from
