Does anyone know what to do with a .run extension on a file? I downloaded America's Army for linux and it had a .run extension which I never saw before. I spent about an hour on google looking for what king of file type this is, but found no insight. Anyone extracted or ran this before?

EDIT: I found this on a website:

RUN: Compiled output p-code file (Softworks basic compiler) (SoftworksLtd)

I'm not at my computer with Opensuse on it right now but does softworksltd exsit on the installation dvd?

Thanks that did work, but I still have a problem. When I go to run the application I get a splash screen of America's Army and then it closes. I saw that it said it was an SDL application, so I went into yast and installed some packages related to SDL but that didn't help. I am running as root, but it made no difference. Any suggestions?

This is the reason I can't start the game. I get this error:

open /dev/[sound/]dsp: Device or resource busy
Couldn't set the video mode: Couldn't find matching GLX visual

What can I do about this?

I download it as I write.
Will post some comments when I'll try to run it...
