I am receiving a copy of Far Cry DVD Edition for free for a memory order from crucial.com...so my question is...can this game be played under linux?
*edited* I had the game name wrong..getting Far Cry..not Half Life. Op..please move this to the Games Forum as I missed it. |

Famewolf: you may wish to reconsider giving away your copy of Far Cry. I've played it and it is an awesome game! Best graphics I've ever seen in any game. If you've sufficient hardware, it's be worth a Windows install (temporarily) just to play it. If you're not into gaming than ignore this. However, if you like fast action FPS gaming, this one's really hard to beat! All others I've played pale in comparison.

It really is great, yeah. And YES, you can play it in Linux. It's an officially supported game, thanks to Transgaming.
