Hi all,

I thought i would try this question here too.

Im trying to setup suse in a single sign on domain with MS 2003 AD server. Will openldap, samba, and pdc do the trick? If so, can i get this all done with yast? Which should i start with first? Samba, ldap, or pdc?

Thanks

Hello all,

So far i am making some progress. When i try to join my domain from xp pro i get the following error:

The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

At least now the machine is able to search for a domain and give me some sort of feedback.

I have created a share also, but when i browse to it it asks for username/password. I create a test user and try those credentials but they dont work.

If anyone would be kind enough to give me some pointers i would really appreciated it.

Thanks

When i try to join the XP box to my suse domain it asks for the username/password for me to join it. But i get this: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

Please help.
