From what I've been told, a workspace is a Gnome thing and a viewport is a Compiz thing..

According to the stuff I can find in gconf-editor, I should have 1 workspace and 4 viewports..

But when I right click a window's button on my window list or right click the titlebar of a window, I get a window menu which seems to have items that do the same things..

For example, clicking 'Move to Viewport Right' does exactly the same thing as 'Move to Workspace Right'.. If I select 'Always in Visible Viewport' then 'Always on Visible Workspace' gets magically selected as well.

For some reason, even though my settings appear to have 1 workspace, Gnome seems to think that I have 4.. This seems pointless seen as I only want to use my 4 viewports (i.e. my nice Compiz cube)..

Is there any way I can remove the workspace menu entries?

Thanks..

Anyone? Can anyone confirm that this is the same on their installation of 10.3 (when running Compiz)?

Well. It's a bug created by different system of multiple desktop in gnome and compiz.

So that's just normal.
