I need to install 10.3 on several new machines. Each box has 12 hard disks in it. The machines will be in several countries. Creating the partitioning is somewhat cumbersome and something I would like to automate.

I am learning how to build an autoyast.xml to perform the install. The rub is that each site will only have 2 machines in it. That isn't enough to justify setting up an install server.

I would like to build my autoyast xml file and put it on the install media so that the disks will be partition and OS will be installed when it boots off the DVD without using a network install.

I have read though this: http://en.opensuse.org/Making_a_SUSE_based_distribution, and http://forgeftp.novell.com//yast/doc/SL10....tall/index.html

What I need to do is seemingly put them together. Is that the right path? Can someone point me to more documentation on how to do what I am looking for?

Thanks!
