Hello everyone--

I'm running 10.3 32-bit. I have a Windows partition where I keep video clips/movies. In KDE whenever I move the mouse over any of the files in the directory a pop-up appears asking if I want to install a suitable codec. Telling it 'no' results in the same pop-up reappearing a couple of seconds later. Is there any way to make it stop? It pretty much makes things unusable.

Thanks in advance...

Try to install the multimedia soft from Yast like MPlayer, Xine, Kaffeine, some win32 codecs may be and I think you will need that players/codecs sooner or later.
But if you wish just to stop the messages, go to Konqueror Settings and look at the first screen, there is a checkbox for showing info and preview of files, try to uncheck the preview checkbox and see what happens.
