Hello everyone--
I'm running 10.3 32-bit. I have a Windows partition where I keep video clips/movies. In KDE whenever I move the mouse over any of the files in the directory a pop-up appears asking if I want to install a suitable codec. Telling it 'no' results in the same pop-up reappearing a couple of seconds later. Is there any way to make it stop? It pretty much makes things unusable. Thanks in advance... |

Try to install the multimedia soft from Yast like MPlayer, Xine, Kaffeine, some win32 codecs may be and I think you will need that players/codecs sooner or later.
But if you wish just to stop the messages, go to Konqueror Settings and look at the first screen, there is a checkbox for showing info and preview of files, try to uncheck the preview checkbox and see what happens. |
