Hey everyone.

I'm hoping someone has a better memory than I do.

I know there is a way to "pipe" audio from one PC to another, but I just can not seem to able to recall or Google a solution to this.

What I would like to do:
- Take the raw audio output (e.g. 16khz PCM or whatever)
- and pipe that from one local PC (running Linux)
- to another PC running OpenSuse 10.2
- .. and play it on that PC (or actually, take the audio as input for another program).

What I'm thinking of is to use the mic on my N800 as input to Sphinx2 (voice recognition) running on my HTPC to control MythTV and other things.

Thanks,
Jazz

It is called network sound, but I have not played with that at all. Maybe one of our other resident experts is familiar with it and can lend a hand.
