I am trying to download SUSE10.1 via ktorrent and I am at 2 gig mark with app proc disappearing unexpectedly. --debug spits out file limit exceeded message. Googling around made me think that FAT32 was responsible for 2 gig limit so I started writing to linux partition, that did not help. I went to ktorrent forums and there were some issues like this is the past but they were fixed in my version.

Anyone ran into this issue before? An other suggestions for torrent clients for SUSE?

Thanks,

I like to use Azureus. Ktorrent is fine, but I like azureus more.

I use both, azureus and ktorrent. Azureus allows me to manage more options, so it is a good choice (if you have a nice amount of ram, since it is java, my friends ). But that behavior on ktorrent is new to me. Which version are you using? I downloaded some DVD images with ktorrent and didn't have that problem. Maybe it is writing temp files to a (I'm guessing) FAT partition, or to a place which have no more space available. If it was really a ktorrent issue, download the image with azureus and when you install/upgrade to suse 10.1, i can tell you the ktorrent version it has is no limited to 2 gig.
Better late than never...

Cheers.
