I've just made an enterance into the world of SuSE 10, having mainly used XP, and a bit of Fedora (on my server) up till now.
I was nicely suprised to find the 'Network Servers' option in the 'Places' menus, and the 'Connect to server' option to enable me to access my Samba shares on my fileserver worked fantastically.
However, I am having a couple of problems:

1) I initially mounted too many drives - two of the five had their details entered incorrectly, and as such don't work. I can't find a way to remove them! If I try pressing delete, I get a message about 'Select unmount from the pop-out menu', but when I right click them, no such option exists.

2) How can I get programs to be able to access the drives? I've got Zend Studio installed and working, but it can't navigate any further than /, so I cant get at my webroot (on the server, as a samba share again). The same with Firefox's 'Save file' dialouge.

Anyone got any ideas?
Everything else is going really nicely, so if I can sort this, hopefully Windows can remain solely for gaming

Thanks again,

Dan

Thanks,

Dan
