Problems Booting Install Cd

I have an B/W G3 400 mhz, 640 mB Ram. After booting from the install cd (Suse 10.3) and typing "install" just gives me the penguin in the top left corner and then nothing. Are there any other commands I can type in ?

try typing at the boot

install video=ofonly textmode=1

worked for me. i couldn't boot the video installer.
