hello all, first thanks for all the great work you guys do.

i've installed openSUSE 10.3 (KDE) on my 500 mHz G3 Pismo with 1 GB ram and 40 GB HD (which may be unnecessary info, but hey why not?).

at first the sound and internet weren't working, but i got the sound up and running, which leaves me with no internet.

it seems as if my airport card is recognized, but there is no connection to the internet.

i'm a total newbie to the world of Linux, but i'm impressed so far. sorry for what i am sure is just nooB ignorance.

any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

actually, i don't know exactly what i did, but somehow i got it working. all i did was try to fiddle with some of the network settings, etc. and somewhere along the line it began working. i would prefer to know exactly what made it work, but for now, i guess it's all good.
