Sorry if this is a FAQ, I tried to find the answer before posting here.

I've got a dual proc G4 1.42ghz PowerMac, and I just installed Opensuse 10.2 on it. Small headaches with booting the install dvd, and the video, but other than that, it's working really well and so far I'm impressed. I've been using Ubuntu on this machine for some time (with a linux smp kernel.)

One problem is that I can not get the kernel to see both processors and take advantage of them with smp. cat /proc/cpuinfo shows only one, and I see no clues in dmesg boot messages.

Looking for instructions on how to get both procs up. As far as I can tell this should happen automatically, but it isn't. Thanks for your help.
